Hand Knit on a Bulky Knitting Machine
I've always been inspired by the fun, bright spirit of SoulTrain and the fashion of its contestants. The mustard yellows, rust oranges and varied stripes seen throughout the show in the clothing, graphics, and dance floors are what inspire this chunky knit two piece. I created a modern twist on this SoulTrain inspired garment by creating a caged back and high rise bottom.
